BLACK GARLIC - Cultured Butter
Our Gold medal winning unsalted cultured butter is made by batch churning cream which has been fermented and ripened slowly for at least 170 hours, which gives the creamy tangy taste for which cultured butter is renowned. Our butter is produced in the traditional way that farmhouse butter was always made “back in the day”.
With a slightly sweet almost balsamic taste with hints of liquorice, Black Garlic compliments our butter perfectly.
Our recently awarded Gold medallist is a favourite of Mrs. Buttersmith who loves to sautee mushrooms, or toss through pasta and gnocchi for an easy but delicious meal. Or why not use to melt over hot potatoes…
