SEA SALT - Cultured Butter 250g
Our Gold medal winning unsalted cultured butter is made by batch churning cream which has been fermented and ripened slowly for at least 170 hours, which gives the creamy tangy taste for which cultured butter is renowned. Our butter is produced in the traditional way that farmhouse butter was always made “back in the day”.
Our unsalted butter is then blended with a mixture of both flake and coarse sea salt, which gives an added texture to the smoothness of the butter. Customers often comment that this is how butter ought to taste.
This wonderful butter has recently won a Gold medal at the Outstanding NZ Food Producers Awards and earlier a Silver medal winner in 2021 Cheese awards - sea salt is a great all-rounder, either slathered on fresh bread or hot toast, or to add a little luxury to your favourite foods or platters.
